My former employer, BIOVEA, was looking to generate and capitalize on organic traffic for their top selling products. So we built a family of websites using WordPress Multi-site. Each website was then translated into 6 languages using the WPML (WordPress Multi-language) plugin. These two approaches made for one powerful solution.
Since the company did not support it with SEO and PPC advertising, it didn’t rank as well as it could have. Even so, it still managed to garner enough traffic that converted into actual sales.
